The famous announcer, who present 360 program in TV Derana, Dilka Samanmalee’s wedding held at Gangarama temple in Colombo today ( 19 January). Her bride groom is Chandana Asela who is a ecologist in profession. It is well known that this marriage happened after a long love affair. Dilka has said that she knows her for about ten years and they are falling in love for about four years.
She met him for the first time when she went to a zoology society to collect some information for a project at the time she was doing Advanced Levels. The met frequently to get helps for her project and made a good friendship. But later on that friendship turned in to a love affair. She said further.
How ever her parents against this affair strongly because they were expecting to have a engineer or a doctor as their son in law, but any how Dilka could marry her every loved boy friend and later on her parents bless them.
It got to know that there is a party for their relations at Kala Dupatha which is closer to Gangarama temple after the religious customs at Gangarama.
